A world of beautiful music has gone unnoticed for far too long. African-American Composers from the United States have long contributed major works to the repertoire of serious musicians, but have often been overlooked in recital and concert halls. In 2012, St. Margaret's Church looks to bring about a change by focusing on the works of several African-American composers in a series of four concerts.

Craig Carroll plays exquisite Classical and Spanish music for the guitar and gives master classes in guitar playing for students of all ages.  Catch him in recital at St. Margaret's!

Meeder Memorial Concert presents Tenor Byron Jones in collaboration with Michael Adcock, Piano, for Schubert's haunting masterpiece  Der Winterrise.  A cycle of 24 short songs exploring the winter of the heart when love is lost, the entire work is not offered frequently. Challenging for both the vocalist and the accompanist, the music transcends language and time to transport the listener into a remarkable experience.
