Our chorister-led Evensongs take place during term on the last Monday of the month at 5:45 p.m. in the church, followed by Community Dinner in the Parish Hall at 6:15 p.m. The service is short and family-friendly. All are welcome!

A treasure of the Anglican/Episcopal tradition, Choral Evensong is a traditional evening prayer service that is based on the services held daily in the medieval Church, derived from the offices of Vespers and Compline. Found in the Book of Common Prayer, Evensong offers the congregation an opportunity to escape the busy-ness of the world by gathering together to spend time in prayer. Listening and participating in the music chosen brings us into a deeper understanding of our faith and it allows both singers and worshippers to enjoy music not typically heard on Sunday mornings. The choir sings the traditional evening prayers, while the congregation listens, joins in on the hymns, and adds their own prayers to those of the choir.
