The Daughters of the King is a lay Order for women in the Episcopal Church.   Members undertake a Rule of Life, incorporating the Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service.  By reaffirmation of the promises made at Confirmation, a Daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service, and evangelism.  We find the Order to be a quiet place in a busy world, where we can support each other in our walk with Christ.  Our Chapter is made up of women from churches located throughout Anne Arundel county.

In 2025, we held a 3 month long discernment class for women who were interested in joining the Order.  We staffed the children's table at the St. Luke's Celebration of Nature in April, and fixed dinner for the Light House Shelter in August.   Each woman in the Chapter holds volunteer positions in her parish, and many live their vows through community volunteering as well.  We have all been enriched by learning about and praying for these individual ministries. We welcomed 7 new Daughters in 2025.

Please email Pam Roth if you would like more information.
