Each year, Stewardship provides an opportunity to express gratitude for God’s blessings. The spiritual commitment of pledging provides the resources for St. Margaret’s Church to fulfill its mission of transforming lives in Christ through worship, formation and giving. This year, St. Margaret’s Stewardship campaign theme is “Grateful.” Amid all of the struggles and challenges going on in our community, our country and world today, we have so much to be grateful for at St. Margaret’s Church. Grateful for our congregation, pastoral leadership, staff and lay volunteers and so many other blessings.
So much of the St. Margaret’s experience is powered through Stewardship – funding our missions efforts, investing in technology, providing children’s and youth's faith formation, maintaining our beautiful campus and supporting our wonderful clergy and staff.
As we embark on the 2021 Stewardship campaign, St. Margaret’s extends a heartfelt “Thank You!” to everyone who contributed to the outstanding campaign of 2020 which raised $905,000 from 195 pledges! Even in difficult times, you have continued to give in service of others – an amazing testament to the special community of St. Margaret’s.
This year, we are striving for $950,000 from 210 pledges. The increase in our goal will help in areas like children’s formation (we have hired a Children’s Formation Director) and the continued investment in enhancing our IT infrastructure. In order to reach our goals, please consider your Stewardship pledge for 2021 with the idea of continuing St. Margaret’s legacy of giving for 329 years (and counting.) If you have not pledged previously and would like to talk with someone, please contact any member of our Stewardship Committee -- Zack Greene, Greg Smith, Brad Callahan, Doug Seybert or Dan Tootle.
Additionally, St. Margaret’s has a wonderful lay ministry program that is in search of volunteers who can lend their time and talent in a variety of ways. Please consider pledging your time – it will continue to make our community even stronger.
Thank you very much for your support of St. Margaret’s Church!
