Each year, Stewardship provides an opportunity to express gratitude for God’s blessings. The spiritual commitment of pledging provides the resources for St. Margaret’s Church to fulfill its mission of transforming lives in Christ through worship, formation and giving. With our fall program year in full swing, we look ahead towards planning for the future, which can be multi-faceted and complicated, but vital. Today we write to you about pledging a financial commitment to St. Margaret’s for next year’s ministries.
We thank you for rallying in terms of time, talent and treasure during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your commitment and actions inspired our theme for this giving season: Strength in Unity. Together, we have played a role in keeping St. Margaret’s healthy, and your financial generosity has funded our many ministries, celebrations, faith formation opportunities and necessary church operations. With this continued spirit in mind, we prayerfully ask that, for those who experienced less or no financial hardship from the pandemic to consider giving more generously. We ask that all parishioners search with intention for the financial support you provide to St. Margaret’s, an amount proportionate to your means and that brings you joy. The Strength in Unity Stewardship Campaign begins on September 25th and continues through October 30th. The most convenient way to make your pledge commitment is through your personal Realm account. Alternatively, you may use the form on this page, send us an email with your commitment or fill out a pledge card available in the narthex and submit it at one of the services. Your gifts matter and make a difference. We have been blessed to hold our annual collections flat during the pandemic, and for that, we are grateful. We hope to grow our pledge this year through your thoughtful, intentional, and sacrificial gifts. We are filled with gratitude for the generosity and caring that you express in so many ways, and we are grateful that you continue to be here for each other. The St. Margaret’s community has truly been a source of strength for all of us. If you have not pledged previously and would like to talk with someone, please contact any member of our Stewardship Committee below -- Greg Smith, Brad Callahan, Susan Roberts or Dan Tootle. May God bless you and be with all of us as He gives us the grace and the strength to be all that we can be. “For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” (Matthew 6:21).
