Other Programs and Events:
Introduction to Communion Class
Reverend Peter offers a short class for younger children to better understand the sacrament of Holy Communion. Classes are scheduled on Sundays when there is no Sunday School. Children are able to get an up-close look at the altar and its pieces.
Epiphany Pageant
We offer an annual Children's Epiphany Pageant on the first Sunday of January, when we celebrate Epiphany. All children are welcome to participate and share the story of the Magi. We have costumes for kings, shepherds, angels, etc.
You've Been Egg'd
Sign up to have 12 eggs hidden in your front yard to be found and re-hidden by your family. One egg will be left empty to symbolize the empty tomb.
Good Friday Family Service
Our Clergy invite children during Easter Week for a walk around the campus to better understand Jesus' actions in the lead up to the resurrection. With hands-on activities and storytelling, this program is for children of all ages.
Easter Egg Hunt
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is held on Easter Sunday after the 9:00 a.m. service. We meet in front of the Administration Building. We collect nut-free candy donations during Lent to stuff the eggs.
Vacation Bible School
This year, our Vacation Bible School will be held the week of June 26th. We are still working out details but registration will be available in March/April. Children who attend VBS are invited to a "reunion" at the end of the summer to sing songs they learned during a Sunday morning service.
