Missions

ST. MARGARET'S HAS A MISSION TO GIVE BACK
St. Margaret's has been blessed with generous donations – including legacy and parishioner donations – that are used to support grants to local and international organizations and to fund on-going parish-wide missions.

There are two ways to request funds:
1. Endowment Grants: Annual applications by non-profit organizations are accepted in the fall of each year and awarded      the following spring after a thorough vetting process. Grants range from $2,500 to $30,000. Applications are available at Endowment Grant Application.
2. Parishioner-Led Grants: Parishioners may apply at any time during the year for grant awards up to $2,500. Grants are available for organizations in support of special causes, community programs, and funding for those in need in the community. A one-page application is available at Parishioner Grant Application.

Our priorities are (in no particular order):
(1) Endow the poor and hungry with the means to feed, shelter and clothe themselves;
(2) Restore the ill to health and heal the broken;
(3) Promote, preserve, and sustain environmental health; and good practices;
(4) Improve access to educational opportunities; and
(5) Implement trust, enable reconciliation and/or confront structural racism & inequality.

Many of the activities our parishioners are involved in are supported by grants.
